With Paul called via Zoom and relaxing in a pool in Puerto Rico, the exchange quickly derailed.

Fury was joined by world heavyweight champion and brother Tyson Fury in addition to his father John Fury.

Both men looked confident from the get-go, with Fury claiming he would “break Paul’s face completely”, while the YouTube star adamant it will be “an easier fight than Tyron. [Woodley]Which saw Paul emerge victorious by decision against the former UFC champion.

“The fights win the fights,” Fury insisted. “I’m not getting involved in this. I’m not on Instagram because I don’t care. When he jumps on the ropes and realizes that I’m not a YouTuber and he gets hit on the chin, he’ll say, “take me out”.

“It’s easy money for me. I’m going to rob the bank, thank you very much. I can’t miss this jawbone. I’m gonna have a blast.

“I’m going to smash your face completely. Hope you are ready. You are an absolute state and you will be faced with reality.

While Paul also traded insults with Fury’s father, calling him a “cranky old man” after a series of vulgar insults directed at his girlfriend.

The world heavyweight champion also participated, supporting his younger brother to “put Paul to work next week”.

But rather than react negatively to the WBC champion, Paul thanked him for helping promote the fight, even suggesting, “He should be paid with Tommy’s purse, he promotes the fight more than Tommy.”

The pair then recalled a brief meeting at Paul’s afterparty after Woodley’s fight, which saw Fury also appear on the undercard with a routine points victory over Anthony Taylor.

Fury maintains that Paul reacted angrily upon finding out he was attending his party and ordered security to keep him and his group of friends away.

While Paul maintains that Fury was previously cordial to him after meeting years ago, adding, “Tommy asked me for a photo at Ricky Hatton’s gym!”

Promoter Frank Warren insists Fury will provide “reality check” for Paul, but admits the YouTube star deserves praise for taking on the challenge against a professional boxer.

“I’m excited, it’s very exciting, I’ve never been involved in something like this,” Warren said. “This is an ongoing feud against social media. It gets worse!

“Come at night, the conversation will be over. Jake Paul did brilliantly, he took himself seriously. He has no amateur training, Tommy does, from a traditional boxing family, with seven professional fights.

“This is a reality check for Jake, I expect Tommy to win this fight and be successful. Jake has a big point to prove. I take my hat off, he’s stepping up, it’s in front of the world. , a huge audience, new to me, but the winner of this fight, who I believe will be Tommy, will be one of the most famous people on the planet. I’m really excited! “
