On December 10, K-pop group Monsta X released an English-language album titled the dream. The album is the band’s second English-language album, following their 2020 album. All about Luv. Monsta X has also released a movie titled Monsta X: The Dream coincide with the release of the album.
Monsta X’s new album contains 10 songs
Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney and IM debuted as Monsta X with Starship Entertainment in 2015. Shownu is currently not active in the group as he is completing his military enlistment.
Before releasing the dream, the K-pop group released a pre-release single titled “One Day” on September 10. The single is included on the tracklist of the dream.

Monsta X released a movie alongside the album
In the days that surrounded the release of the dream, Monbebes all over the world were able to see Monsta X: The Dream in theaters. The film was available in theaters in South Korea on December 8. Outside of South Korea, the film was in select theaters on December 9 and 11.

What members are saying about the album
Following the release of the dream, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney and IM were interviewed by PEOPLE. In the interview, the members of Monsta X shared their thoughts on the dream and Monsta X: The Dream.
“The name of the album is the dream, so the lyrics are rather dreamy and very sweet. The lyrics are like a poem. It will touch your heart, ”IM told PEOPLE.
The members then discussed what it was like to see yourself in a movie.
“I feel like a movie star,” Minhyuk said.
IM added: “Well I meant I think it’s going to be awkward because we went to the movies to watch movies that we love, but this time we see each other… in theaters. So I think that it’s going to be embarrassing.
Members of the K-pop group will perform “One Day” by the dream to Hello america December 13.
