Nick Kyrgios Thanasi Kokkinakis press conference, no sleep for 3 days, funny, won the doubles final, tennis news

Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis have won a Grand Slam. Of course, the press conference was crazy.

Both men were cowards during their on-court interview after winning the Australian Open men’s doubles title, with Kyrgios proclaiming “Ladies, let’s go!” regarding his partner, and that mood continued in the press room.

Kokkinakis must have been told to hang up his phone before he started because he was busy tweeting that he wouldn’t sleep for three days.

THEIR LONGEVITY

Q: So the last pair to win a junior slam and then win a senior slam was the Bryan Brothers, who won 16.

Kokkinakis: It won’t be us.

WHY IS NICK TOUCHING THANASI’S ASS TOO?

Q: Does Nick touch your butt that much when you’re not on the court together?

Kokkinakis: Yes. Following. Probably more. It’s not for the cameras.

Kyrgios: More.

Kokkinakis: It’s just how we bring out that camaraderie.

Kyrgios: Much more.

Kokkinakis: Do you like it, Ben? You do, don’t you?

THEY ARE ONLINE TO MAKE THE YEAR-END ATP FINALS…

Kokkinakis: I mean, we’re not going to turn down the ATP Finals.

Kyrgios: All I’m saying is the ATP is pumped if we’re at it bro.

Kokkinakis: We didn’t expect to make the ATP Finals, especially after playing one tournament together a year. It’s pretty crazy, really.

Yes, we will rock for sure. See what happens. I think everyone will want to beat us, but that’s okay. I don’t think anything changes.

WILL THEY MEET AT THE OTHER SLAMS?

Kyrgios: I don’t play against the French, and I don’t play doubles at Wimby. Maybe just the United States, then the Finals.

Kokkinakis: Here it is. I’ll just try to find someone else. It is very good. I didn’t even like it, anyway.

I just want to rock for the end of the ATP Finals year, I think. It’s OK.
