Koch Media GmbH has announced that as of today all Koch Media companies worldwide will be renamed PLAION (pronounced Play-On), accompanied by a complete rebranding.

Klemens Kundratitz, co-founder and CEO of PLAION says: “Over the past 28 years, we have built an incredibly strong company, partnering with many of the best known names in the industry. Since joining the Embracer Group in 2018, growth has accelerated and we have become increasingly diverse. To reflect the evolving nature of our business in terms of not only content, but also geography as we continue to expand across the globe, we have chosen our new name to better describe who we are and the journey we are on.

Along with the new name comes a new logo which depicts the interactive play button, the abstract “P” inside as a representation of our new name, and the ribbon symbolizing the embracing and connecting role that we, as PLAION, have as a leader in the digital entertainment ecosystem. .

Kundratitz adds, “Our new name gives us the opportunity to build on our rich history as a publishing partner and our exceptional and ever-growing network of world-class development studios and creators, to continue to deliver high-end service to our partners, to highlight our ambition as a global player in the entertainment industry, but also to reinvent ourselves. Our vision is to enable and inspire our teams and partners around the world, unlocking their full potential. »

At PLAION, our mission is to deliver unique entertainment experiences and create meaningful conversations with our customers, connecting them to our content in the way they choose.

“Our industry is incredibly dynamic, the expectations of our customers and partners are constantly changing and we have to recognize that. Building on our strong foundations while embracing change will bring something new, something better. As PLAION, we are building on our years of success while striving to do more, much more. PLAION is a promise to deliver exceptional entertainment to our customers. I am happy and proud to continue our journey as PLAION”, concludes Kundratitz.
