Family Dispute Leads to Violation Charges – Dove Place Chatham CK21056507

Police intervened in the Dove Place Chatham area. A man was located in the area in violation of the conditions of a previous release. As officers attempted to arrest the man, he resisted and momentarily fled before being arrested. The man faces charges of violating the release order, resisting police and escaping police custody. The man has been released at Chatham-Kent headquarters with a future court date of November 23/2021

Road rage incident leads to assault, Grand Ave West @ Keil Drive Chatham CK21056586

At approximately 8:57 p.m., a man was seen being assaulted by a man and woman who got out of the Black pickup. These two groups then got back into their trucks and fled east on Grand Ave. Police intervened in the area and could not locate the suspects or the truck. The assaulted man sustained minor injuries to his face and head.

Unrest leads to mischief charges 25 Michener Rd Chatham CK21056653

Police responded for a disruption during the extended stay on Michener Road Chatham. A man causing trouble had damaged the building there. The man was arrested for mischief and taken to Chatham-Kent headquarters. The man was released with a future court date of December 28/2021.

In recent weeks, there have been several motor vehicle collisions involving deer. Chatham-Kent Police would like to remind drivers to look for wildlife ahead of time and consider the potential of multiple deer if you see one. Do not stray to avoid wildlife as this could lead to more serious accidents and injuries to drivers and their passengers
