Press release: Yankees-Angels game tonight postponed

The New York Yankees have announced that tonight’s Yankees-Angels game (Wednesday, June 1) has been postponed due to inclement weather forecasts and will be played as the first game (1:05 ​​p.m.) of a split-admission doubleheader Thursday, June 2, at Yankee Stadium.

Fans who hold paid tickets for tonight’s game (Wednesday, June 1) can use them for the rescheduled 1:05 p.m. game on Thursday, June 2 at Yankee Stadium or exchange them for tickets to a similar regular season game at Yankee Stadium. (subject to availability) as described in the Yankees Rain Control Policy, which can be found at www.yankees.com/raincheck.

Tickets dated Wednesday, June 1, 2022 will only be valid for Game 1 (scheduled at 1:05 p.m.) on Thursday, June 2 and will not be valid for Game 2, scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

On Thursday, the doors to Yankee Stadium will open at 12:00 p.m. for Game 1 and around 5:30 p.m. for Game 2. Both games will be broadcast on YES Network.

Fans holding Complimentary Tickets (COMP) or those holding tickets obtained through the Commissioner’s Initiative for Children must use them for the rescheduled game. COMP tickets or equivalent tickets have no cash value and have no additional benefit that might be offered to tickets with a dollar value.
